My wife is a bird enthusiast. She says no to gold finch and yes to oriole. A gold finch would never suck out of a hummingbird feeder. Orioles love them. Plus, I've taken pics of both...

This is without question an Oriole but I believe that it is a Baltimore Oriole but can not be only about 75% sure from this image.

I would say a goldfinch, however the other shot shows a slight curve to the beak so I'm not sure. We have a lot of goldfinches here year round, but not an oriole, they are more orange and black. unless it is a different species of oriole :)

Looks like a Hooded Oriole. (Goldfinch has the black at the crown, not the throat). Beautiful shot of this beautiful bird.
