Three images of a Pied-billed Grebe. This is the first time that I've seen one at this park (AH Pk). It was only there very briefly and allowed me only shots from a considerable distance. The top photo was taken at 850 mm, whereas the last two of the Grebe catching a rather large fish were taken at 1000 mm. This was the second fish I saw it catch in less than a half hour. One wonders where they store and how do they swallow such large fish???.
Pied-billed Grebe catching second relatively large fish. Note a Red-breasted Merganser looking on with envy.
Down the hatch with one final flap of the tail.
