But Mommy it's your favorite flower.jpg

Some memories are painful to us. Sometimes we punish or reprimand a child unfairly becasue we don't understand. Then he will say something that is heart piercing "but Mommy it's your favorite flower for your Birthday" The uprooted flower is soon forgotten but the disappointment of the child may live in memory for ever. Such is the curse of being parents.

Oh this really touches me. I remember telling my son when he was little that if he picked the flowers they would die faster so he took to doing what this young lad did and pulled them up roots and all to bring them to me. Another beauty Norma.
