155 overhead

This is Ontario Trumpeter Swan number 155 - (they are still endangered, so they are banded and tracked and tagged). There are now about 1000 in Ontario. The way to tell a Trumpeter from a Tundra Swan is that the Trumpeter is covered with tags!

Hi,

What a gorgeous photograph. I am the one who tags the trumpeters and we had a report that she had lost one of her tags but i see it is just flipped under her wing so it won't show when her wings are closed. WOW beautiful, beautiful photo. Bev. K
