Great shot CJ. I like the simpleness of it. I might recommend cloning out the bit of shadow just below the bird, it is slightly distracting to my eye anyways. Really like it overall though.

Thanks Tom, Debi, and Penny. It looks like he's ready to take off into the wild blue yonder. :-) CJ

... how did this one show up after the other bird?.. OK I'll fix that. There's a gremlin loose around here. BTW Carole. This gets quite good points: three for the corner and two edges. Extra 3 points for three extra edges in the lower lefdt corner plus 1 for said corner itself. For negative space, .5 each for two corners and one edge = 1.5. Total = 8.5. Better than excellent. -tv

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure this would fit the topic, but I liked it anyway. I have no idea what he's looking at - maybe the bird in #2 - I think I'll move these around! :-) CJ

This doesn't remind me of any songs but it does remind me of a good picy. This works really well for the topic & the angle of the bird makes sense of the neg space. Goodun Carole.

Reminds me of one of my favorite Beatles songs. Well, the title anyway. -Doug

Carole, this somehow reminds me of the John Travolta disco dance imitation in "Airplane". (I know - I've flipped.) What could be the cause of the birds posture? There's nothing up there but negative space. Maybe he's a cynic in the Diagonesian mode. (See today's NY Times Op Ed page). Extra points for the tail pointing at the corner within the corner. More extra points for the beige negative space adjacent to the blue negative space. -tv
