About halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles is Las Osos Oaks State Reserve.
Charming to walk through, this 90 acre grove of dwarfed coast live oak trees are 600 to 800 years old. This area was inhabited by the Chumash Indians up to 13,000 years ago.
