Believe it or not, this photo was not "photoshoped", this is how it actually looked like. Well, disclosure: I've opened the .NEF file with Photoshop Elements and adjusted color temperature slightly and cropped a little bit, but that's it -- the whole magic of Fantine looking like a ghost is created by light and smoke.
