Tonight I realized how much my future sister-in-law trusts me when she let me take her wedding dress home with me to work on steaming out the wrinkles. One of the things I love about her dress is this little side spray of fabric roses and the silver beadwork. I wanted to make sure and get a close-up of it.

Tomorrow, I need to go get some beads to repair where some of the beading fell apart around the top of the bodice. It's under the arm, but if I can notice it, I'm not going to let it go without trying to fix it. And contrary to what the other bridesmaids suggested, I will not be hot gluing anything onto this dress. Sacrilege!

For my costuming friends out there, be sure to check out the bottom of the ribbons of the bow. Yes, that is in fact beaded. Guess what I'll be trying to do on my costumes from here on out!
