I'm standing silently to his left snapping off shots as his glance turns my way. He's actually
looking past me as he scans the crowd for us. Carol is coming up behind him just a few feet away. It's a good thing that I've got this camera thing down to an automatic process as when
he first turns, I'm pretty speechless at how different he looks -- in a very good way. The military is truely a transformative experience.
