Schneider Componon 105mm is small enough to be recess mounted inside a Minolta MD mount.
This allows more bellows flexibility since it is compressed less at any focus distance.
Has up to 20 degrees of motion even when focused at infinity.
Hello!
I managed to buy a set of MF Minolta gear from a former pro photographer, including md lenses, X-700 and minolta auto bellows III. It is mounted to my EOS 400D with MD-EOS converter (including a lens).
Now having trouble in focusing to infinity with MD 50mm Macro, MD 24mm or MD 50 mm 1:2, infinity focus does not even work well enough with tamron 28-200 zoom lens, which should have long enough focal length. You mentioned in some of your posts that the thickness of converter ruins the game and you have converted auto bellows III with screw mount. In my case I´d like the eos mount, could you please describe the auto bellows conversion with some more details, are there any problems now to focus to infinity?
I might buy simple converter to eos and try likewise conversion myself.
What are these bellows lenses you have, e.g. this one in picture, what kind of mount you have in them, MD?
I´d like to find a setup that focuses to infinity with the bellows, do you have bellows lenses for sale, would I still need to convert the bellows with these bellows lenses?
