This is the view from the parking lot. This gives a pretty good view of the Salmon Creek gully that you have to cross, which is rather easy except for avalanche danger.

The white flat area is extra parking. I expected to climb up the NW corner and then look for the best crossing. Instead I found the NE corner is where snowboarders exited Salmon Creek, and made an easy start (no climbing)
