URUEÑA (VALLADOLID)

Urueña is a municipality located in the province of Valladolid, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census, the municipality has a population of 213 inhabitants and has 11 bookstores. In 2007, has been declared “Villa del Libro” providing only 14 other locations in the world. The Romans arrived in these lands around 1 b.C. The wall surrounding the city is the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.
