Sidewalk Airplane
As I came out of our store to grab some lunch, it had just stopped raining.
I looked down to see this airplane on the sidewalk in front of me.
I have no idea where it came from. It was just sitting there staring at me...
I realized that this is the third aviation related PAD in the last week, and that was not intentional.
My dad flew Piper Cubs as a reconnaissance pilot in World War II, and he gave me the "flying bug"when I was young.
We would often eat lunch on Sundays at the restaurant at the airport and I would be mesmerized by the planes.
While I was in the Navy, I used to deliver pizzas on weekends and evenings in order to afford flying lessons.
I have about 40 hours towards my private pilots license,
but when I became self-employed I had to give it up.
Just couldn't afford it anymore.
Maybe someday...
Hey, finders keepers, I'm gonna fight a little kid over this one!
