22nd February 2009

Friends, you may remember my suspicions last month that the local moles are in a conspiracy with aliens from another planet
to dig secret landing strips for their UFOs. Well! Here I have the proof! You can see behind me a series of mole-hills that
clearly form a landing strip visible from the air!
Those aliens could be arriving any minute. I'd better keep a sharp look-out!

Dad: first walky for me since leaving hospital on the 19th. Thanks for all the kind messages! I am feeling a lot better but was definitely ready for a rest after this walky.

Pooch, those moles are tilling the soil so you will have better grass in the springtime. Glad to hear that Dad could take you for a walk--everything takes time to heal.

Wow the moles have been busy there! The ground is too frozen here for them to be able to dig, one advantage I suppose........ Glad to hear that you are feeling better Poochdad, but don't try and do too much too soon.
