It was a freezing cold morning and I was stomping around feeling a little disappointed in the flat light. Eventually I stopped trying to fight the situation I had been gifted and instead worked to its advantages finding beautiful crystal shards of ice in minature at the edge of the loch. So that is where they got the idea for Superman's arctic retreat.
