Maria, from San Francisco, and George, from Sacramento. I encountered this
interesting couple as they appeared to be arguing about the direction they were headed.
Maria was distressed about being late for a dinner engagement, but very graciously
allowed me the time to take their photograph. Maria told me of her background in
graphic design and George told me he met Maria at a Folk dance. George also told me
of the cloudless weather he has in California from May through October which he
considered a deterrent for dramatic photography.

The original image had the right lens of George's glasses black in appearance and
gave me fits while editing the shot to allow a more natural appeal. I then had to work
on the other lens as it appeared too dark. It required brightening and lightening of
red with the use of the magic wand in Elements (my current editing software). I think
the brightness of George's shirt gives a nice glow and balance to Maria's face.
