Old Shoes

Sometimes you just outgrow your shoes.
Sometimes you grow so large they just burst.
Such as it is with past relationships.
They just don't fit anymore.
Your feet grew too large to be contained.
The shoe lets go and you walk away.
You might get really lucky and find a new pair.
And these shoes may be just your size.
They fit really good and don't cause blisters.
Occasionally you may still walk barefoot,
but the shoes will be there when you are ready.
Mmmmmm, comfy shoes and hugs, a great combination.
