This is one of your most expressive landscapes, Carol. The falls are pure fury, yet somehow the lone tree survives their force. You offer us a powerful and incongruous juxtaposition of subject and context here and by converting it to black and white, you reduce nature to its most elemental terms. I can see this image printed large and hanging on a gallery wall -- the large sizing would increase the contrasts here manyfold. Congratulations.
