"Snoopy", as many of you know, is the dog in the "Peanuts" cartoon series.
He is often depicted as lying on his back on his dog house with the little
yellow bird perched on his nose. This rock formation is named for this pose.
Snoopy's feet are to the right and his head to the left. The bird on his
nose might be 6 to 8 fee tall. I once climbed up to bottom of his head.
The trail is out of view on the other side of the formation.
