Today we learned about "idiopathic canine vestibular dysfunction" which causes the dog to lose all sense of balance and not be able stand or walk without falling over. We thought she had a stroke. Here we were just leaving for the vet. Tara made a spontaneous recovery an hour later, as most dogs apparently do. She had her 13th birthday January 1.
