Cripes A'Mighty

The P-51D, Cripes A'Mighty, is owned by Tom Ungurean and is on display at the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa, Arizona through January 2009. The P-51D is finished in the markings of Major George E. Preddy, Jr., the top P-51 ace of WWII, and occasionally can be seen flying during its stay at the CAF's Arizona Wing. Major Preddy was killed by friendly fire on December 25, 1944 during a mission in support of the Battle of the Bulge.
