+Whale falls - Catman

this is a place I have looked for, for sometime now, I found it today and decide it was one of my favorite places. It is near Treemont on the Middle Prong of the little river in the Smoky mountain national forest. I just gave it that name and have no idea if it has an official name

This is an excellent conversion and I like the composition too. It looks like you could cross the river on that tree trunk, but I sure wouldn't want to drop onto the back of that whale! Good stuff, Richard.

OK I lost the flailed try and converted to BW which is my favorite display when there is not much color in the original image as there was with this one.

It's a good name I think! interesting as it's hard to get a sense of scale. B&W might work well too? Alistair

I like the picture, However the fallen tree in the forground causes a distraction from the wale shaped rock. Maybe clone / crop.
