National Ice Carving Championship

Downers Grove, IL

The 2009 National Ice Carving Championship Competition was held at Downers Grove last week. The temperature was below the freezing mark for the past two months.
On Saturday, the temperature reached a record high of 56 degrees (13C). Not a good day for ice carving!
