My assignment was to photograph a local high school diver for an upcoming story. I noticed the graphic background and watched for a while as she took her turns off the starting block. I composed what I hoped would be a good scene and then fired away as she dove off the block. The girl's family loved the picture so much that they made sweatshirts with the silk-screened photo on the front! She gave me one; I have never worn it, and to this day it hangs proudly in my closet.
