This time to the right of the ascending ramp. You can just see where Lenka was at the base of the ramp when she took the Gallery Header shot. From here the depth of the Hatshepsut Podium is very noticeable. The podium of Mentuhotep is top left level with Hatshepsut second forecourt. Take in Influences before you leave the site and make more of this.
Although the crowd is moderate at this time of day there are quite a few people about.
The location of the shot is near the bottom of the scree descending the scarp on the walk out out the Theban Hills.
We were all pleased to be mostly down at ground level at this point of the walk.
