In the summer of 2002 we saw the Decoigne Wolf Pack for the first time along highway 16 near Mount Robson. They didn't seem to mind us people at all and it was obvious that they were being fed by members of the crew who were carrying out major road works on this stretch of highway at that time. The pack then consisted of at least seven wolves (we saw six, and heard another one in the distance). Two winters later, in January 2004, we saw three members of the pack just a few kilometres east. Unfortunately after that the pack died completely and we have seen only single wolves in the area since then. If you have any recent information on this pack please do let us know.

I would give my right arm to get another opportunity like this again with the camera equipment we have now...
