Three photos taken hand-held at f/16 and 1/250s, 1/80s, 1/30s respectively. The fourth image shows the output from an HDR assembly. Note that significant time elapsed between exposures allowing clouds to move. Also note that there was some wind and the tree tops moved with respect to the lower parts.
Since the hand-held shots did not match exactly, the HDR program scaled down to the matching areas.
Note that in the final pictures the relative tree top and cloud movements confused the HDR program and - well, made a mess.
