Hawk Portrait

Texas Canyon, Dragoon, Arizona

This is another case of not having the lens for the shot I want!
I was on the road to work with my 150mm Macro lens attached, when I spotted this beautiful Cooper's Hawk.
Took some shots anyway and rather like the results.
(My 20D Body bit the dust so I am back to one lens at a time....)

Canon EOS 20D ,Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO EX Macro DG HSM
1/320s f/8.0 at 150.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Carol, you went to the long end of your macro lens. Very nice image. Keep them coming.

Pretty darn good considering the 150, sharp and well exposed.
