Hawk Portrait

Texas Canyon, Dragoon, Arizona

This is another case of not having the lens for the shot I want!
I was on the road to work with my 150mm Macro lens attached, when I spotted this beautiful Cooper's Hawk.
Took some shots anyway and rather like the results.
(My 20D Body bit the dust so I am back to one lens at a time....)

Very nice shots of this Cooper's Hawk, Carol. I think it's happy to be in your "Bird Heaven" area too. Of course it has a different agenda. Great series.
