Solitude has replaced a couple of its double chairs with high speed quads. But
the Powderhorn lift remains a classic. It goes all the way to the horizon line,
and gives entry to my favorite groomed run at Solitude called Diamond Lane. The
trail below the lift and to the right (ungroomed) is the lower extent of Alta Bird.
