On the tram across the city Rio in Brazil, this girl who sat in front of me, kept looking back and smilling at me for about over 10 minutes. Her Mum was apparently perplexed. Her smile was so catching and completely lovable. I looked at her, returned her smile. Not until the last minute before the tram stopped, I decided to raise my camera, recording such a sweet moment.

After the tram reached the station, surpringly, she led her Mum toward where I sat.
She couldn't speak English, nor I understand Portuguese. And , then, to my great surprise, she opened her arms, giving me a big hug that completely melt my heart away.

I kept wondering for the following days, how the connection of the girl to me, had been in place as if she knew me as a long-lost childhood friend.
