Female
Sporophila collaris
Aragarças, Goiás
During the trip, S. collaris was found at six localities in the Araguaia Valley, the furthest south being at the rio Babilônia, east of Alto Araguaia, Goiás. All of the males observed, as well as one that Guy observed in Tocantins in 2002, generally conformed to the ‘black-and-white’ nominate type discussed by Kirwan (2007), see http://www.freewebs.com/guykirwan/Sporophila_collaris.pdf.
