After a 3-leveled lower stairway, you find yourself on the first cruciform platform from which there is the first grand view of the main temple. This is the Processional Walkway, which is 160 meters long and bordered by 70 sandstone posts with tops of carved lotus buds. The Walkway is paved with blocks of laterite.
