'Wolf" Moon 2009

This is the name given to the January full moon by Native American folklore.
On this January 11th, the moon appeared about 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than other full moons will be during 2009.

Very nice! It's a terrific shot - clear as a bell. Congrats on being in a place without clouds! Interesting to think about how old people must have felt when they saw it coming closer and then moving away.
