George Henry was a son of Lewis Henry Boyett and Almyra Morrow-Boyett and grandson of Baptist and Mahulda Boyett. George was also a brother of the slain Gibson Co Sheriff's Deputy, Samuel L. Boyett.

This photo was taken in April of 1899 of George Henry, age 28 1/2 and his first wife, Alice Yaborough-Boyett, age 24 and two of their five children (Persia 3 yrs 7 mos and Mamie 1 yr 8 1/2 mos. They later had Callie, Berthia and Bessie.

After the death of Alice in 1900, George Henry married Mollie E. Patterson in 1901 and they had a son, John L. Boyett.

After the death of Mollie in 1915, George Henry married Mrs. Bettie Willis in 1916. They were separated sometime before 1920 as his children did not get along with Mrs. Willis.
