Sam Colt -- the inventor of the revolver -- loved to escape Hartford's summer heat by spending time at his camp in Maine. Because his wife loved to bowl, he built her a bowling alley in the woods. Years later a sporting lodge salvaged the flooring of the bowling alley to make these dinning tables. Resting on the table is one of Colt's original wooden bowling balls.
