Thanks Mike. I have quite a few keepers from this session. My Oly DSLR was in the shop so I had the H5 and teleconverter. Turned out okay because I had something to enter in Eligible. There were the two on the ground, one flying around and three more in the trees. I had never even seen an eagle before so it was wonderful for me. As for the composition, I didn't really have much choice since there was nothing around but a giant slab of frozen lake:).
Jolene, this is a wonderful capture in nature. I love the simple/minimal composition and the fantastic clarity of your subjects. I wish I could be so lucky to capture a scene like this. Looks like something from the "Nature" channel...or something I'd see in a wildlife magazine. Great shot! MFC
