Sandy, everyone has already said it all. FANTASTIC, you must feel very privileged to have had this moment. You should consider a sale to a nature mag or something else. You might consider entering this in to the up coming nature comp.

What a wonderful eagle photo. His 'perch' is just the perfect line through the picture. Such clear feathers and ruffled head and piercing eye. Great. Sharron

What a beautiful image! Everything about it is first class; the colours, the depth-of-field, the sharpness, the contrast, the composition, the position of the eagle and the lighting. This is definately destined to be entered in as many compositions as possible. Excellent work. - Ed Maxfield

Thank you so much Gail! It was sheer luck to have found an eagle approachable, that not only was under sunshine, but one that was perched out in the open. This eagle was such a great sport, allowing me to take photos until I finally left him alone still resting on his perch. lol Many thanks once again!
Sincerely,
Sandy

One of the finest eagle photos I've seen. Great head angle, very sharp detail on the body feathers especially, good DOF with complementary background hues. The bare branch he's standing on is a perfect perch, with nothing to distract from the magnificence of the eagle. I love the light reflection off the beak. Magnificent shot!
