We weren't really sure where we would camp. In this picture, there were some pretty well used paths to the right going off towards Needle Creek.
We went traipsing around back there and found the most FABULOUS campsite - far enough from the trail and the creek for proper LNT camping,
lots of flat spaces for tents, a nice central area for cooking, some logs around that central area (that we sat on the one night it wasn't raining),
and very easy access to the creek for water. If I went back to the Basin I'd probably camp at this one again.
