I always enjoy closeup detail shots into Christmas trees - with the ornaments, the pine needles, the depth into the tree, and all the blotches of color the lights produce.

I prefer close-ups like this to a shot of the whole tree. I find whole Christmas trees difficult to work into a composition effectively. Nice shot!

Justin, I like this close-up view too...again, my eyes are really drawn to the glow from those blue light bulbs. Beautiful and festive...nice photo! MFC
