To the right and below the main stream is the outlet of a 10" or 12" cast iron pipe that emerges from the ground on the West Laurel Hill side of Vine Creek and runs in the creek bed for about 200 feet. On this day when it had been raining, water was flowing from it, possibly indicating that it's a storm sewer. I don't know where it originates; it's not on the township sewer maps.
