the obligatory mirror shot
maybe I am missing my M8 too much, but I love using this sweet jewel of a lens on the D3X
no problems with skin tone from the D3X, which was a concern of mine

1/50s f/3.5 iso 250 full exif

I corrected this one now for the site & will get around to the others
this is one amazing camera, but the manual is almost 500 pages in length
I had the camera for < 48 hours (chasing down the street a Big Brown truck to get it a few hours earlier, may I add) and it was Boxing Day
the EXIF is accurate for the others, to the best of my knowledge

Ah, the obligatory mirror self-portrait shot...I recall fondly my first-ever shot of myself as seen in the side window of an old Ford F-150 pickup,parked in the driveway of the parents house of an old girlfriend of mine. There I was in all my reflected glory,seen with my first "Nokin",a venerable FM,fitted with an old 50mm f/2 Nikkor. BTW, beginning with this photo, these D3x photos carry the date "2007"....surely that date should be 2008,right? Thanks for the gallery.
