Thank you all! I love the winter sun. Very low and sunrise takes a long time, delivering a soft and warm light. The trees attracted my view here as the structure is so much in contrast to the buildlings.
@Helen: The mix of architecture is a result of WWII. Originally buildings were from the late 1890s or early 1900s. In the build up during the 50s there was not much to care about from the architecture point of view and still we have some gaps which are not fully filled up (as you see on the left border).

This photograph has a distinct autumn/winter mood to it, Frank. Nicely done!

What a difference in architectural style on this street! Very nice capture of an interesting block. LIke the soft light as well.

Fantastic, like one of those old-time childrens' architectural games.
You should do a pop-up book.

Frank, I'm really drawn to the irregular, bending lines of the tree trunks and branches here...maybe because most everything else seems more orderly and "straight" to me in this scene. Well composed with nice exposure and detail. Hope your stay at home was a great one. ..I'm sure it was much better than Deb's stay in the car :) Nice shot, Frank! MFC
