The ghostly figure drifts past a blatant image of sensuality, as if it isn't even there. The cup of coffee means more to him than the "cups" in the advertisement which, I'm assuming, is for intimate apparel. So I've found a bit of a visual pun even though it may be simply serendipitous.

Subtle and compelling.

Everyone can find different meanings in this shot and this is it's strength. It means something.

Street life ... Well composed. She seems to be calling for attention but he's oblivious of her presence. Maybe she only thirsts for a cup of java. Or is she a window girl on the streets of Amsterdam..

Life in the city, forever on the move, forever ignoring the other, forever wrapped in individual cocoons. Terrific shot, Colin!

Can you beleive he can have her?
The contrast of life style is stricking.
He sees her just about as well as she sees him.
I really don't know what you intened to say here but I just see contradiction...
but find it a facinating study
