12 DEC 08 GIANT MOON

This night the moon was very low on the horizon and seemed particularly large.
There won't be a closer encounter with the Full Moon again until November 14, 2016 . . . or so the astronomers & astrologers say.

We had full cloud cover & didn't see a thing...was most disappointed.
