Nice shot - I love the symmetry, and the red & green colors against the white building! Wow, a bazooka - and you were only armed with an H5!

Thanks, Mike and Deb for the kind comments. I actually went down there to capture the National Christmas Tree but decided it was far better at night, so turned around and there was the White House, except it was in shadow most of the time. I had tried a few from a distance and ended up with very unusual framing -- five Secret Service guys settling into place of the roof, complete with guns and what looked like a bazooka, aimed right in my direction, LOL.

Lovely lighting, symmetry, and detail here, Helen...the colorful garland and wreaths really "pop" against the bright, monotone structure. Very well taken! MFC
