The melted thrust race and washer. When this
thrust race seized it overheated and then melted the
bolts holding the flywheel, clutch yoke and input shaft housing.
Total Cost to repair $3800. BTW I had noticed a change in the clutch operation.
Moral of this story - If something is wrong,
get if fixed before it gets worse and more expensive.
Also I was lucky the crankshaft and gear box input
shaft did not need to be replaced.
