Christmas Lights

Northville, MI

We went out to photograph some of the Christmas Lights locally, as we knew that once the
big snowstorm hit we would not be able to see the lights under the huge covering of snow.
This house had the best display we saw, the lights on the house were flashing and changing
in time to music, so I did a 5 second exposure to capture all the garlands.
It was BITTERLY cold, 21F (-6C) and I felt as if my fingertips were going to drop off as they
were so painful and cold after standing out taking photos for only five minutes or so.

What a beautiful display, Tricia. You captured it perfectly with that long exposure. Great idea!

Nice shot Tricia. Good job on the lights and I know you worked hard to get it.
