The Mabilon Bell Foundry operated from 1770 to right up to 2002.
The foundry provided bells for many German churches and at least two known carillons throughout the world...... the Basilica of St.Willibrord, Echternach, Luxembourg and the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, Santiago, Chile. It also cast the bells for the glockenspiel on Saarburg's town hall.
The former foundry is now a museum.
