N : Nollaig 2008 (Christmas 2008)

Like many other pbasers I am writing my Christmas cards currently. This year all the cards I will post to my family and friends will be my own handmade ones, thanks to the photographs I’ve been able to take. These are some of the greetings I will write on them

Nollaig Shona! (Happy Christmas)
Nollaig shona duit/daoibh! (Happy christmas to you - singular/plural)
Nollaig faoi shéan is faoi mhaise! (A happy and prosperous Christmas)
Nollaig faoi shéan is faoi shíocháin (A happy and peaceful Christmas)
Athbhliain faoi mhaise ! (A prosperous new year)
Athbhliain faoi shonas is faoi rath! (A happy and prosperous new year)

In German Merry Christmas is Frohe Weihnachten and in Indonesian it is Selamat Hari Natal.
